For art and architecture, The Blanton Museum of Art showcases contemporary and classical collections. Ellsworth Kelly’s “Austin” is a chapel of color and light worth visiting. South Congress Avenue is a great spot for vintage shops, record stores, and independent boutiques.
Parks & Views
For outdoor and scenic spots, check out Barton Springs Pool, a natural spring-fed swimming hole. Lady Bird Lake is great for kayaking, paddle-boarding, and beautiful skyline views. Mount Bonnell offers a short hike with panoramic views of the city.
